Active Shooter & Medical Response (ONLY for our SSOs/SSGs)

Officer (Ret.) Brian Bardsley Jr., former Chicago Police SWAT Medical Team Leader This course prepares participants to effectively respond to active shooter and other violent critical incidents. Through classroom instruction and practical exercises, students will learn situational awareness, threat recognition, personal safety, emergency response procedures, and lifesaving medical interventions. A major focus of the course is hands-on drills that put these concepts into practice, integrating safety response and medical skills through realistic scenarios. Emphasis is placed on rapid decision-making, hemorrhage control, casualty care, and coordinated response during high-stress situations.
