Presenter: Matthew Tobias, retired Deputy Chief, Chicago Police. 

Matthew Tobias brings over 40 years of leadership experience across multiple security and law enforcement roles. He retired as Deputy Chief with the Chicago Police Department, where he served in diverse positions, including Gang Crimes, SWAT, Special Operations Commander, and Police Academy Director.

A graduate of the FBI National Academy with multiple certifications, Mr. Tobias is currently Director of Security at Anshe Emet Synagogue and Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School, while also serving as a Director with American Heritage Protective Services.

His background includes service as a U.S. Marine in aircrew operations and as a Military Police Officer. Mr. Tobias holds a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master's in Criminal/Social Justice from Lewis University.
