Commander Scott Sophier is a seasoned law enforcement professional with over 20 years of experience, currently serving as the Community Relations Commander with the Evanston Police Department. Previously, he led the Major Crash Assistance Team as Task Force Commander for five years, directing a multi-jurisdictional team responding to serious traffic collisions. Commander Sophier governs a team focused on community partnerships and collaborates with leadership to support community safety and well-being.
