About the Event

Situational Awareness-In Shul And About Seminar

This class is designed to give shul leaders, greeters, and community members the practical tools needed to strengthen synagogue safety in today’s environment — but the skills taught go far beyond the walls of a shul. The reality is that threats and suspicious activity can happen anywhere: in a grocery store, at a gas station, walking with your kids, or driving home at night. This training focuses on real-world awareness, identifying pre-attack indicators, smart decision-making under pressure, and clear response protocols so you can protect yourself and those around you. Taking this class is important because safety is not just “someone else’s job” — preparedness starts with you. The more people who know what to look for and how to respond, the stronger and safer our entire community becomes.
