Start up Class- Girls Self Defense

Instructor Leslie Lefranc has expertly tailored Krav Maga for youth. Her teaching tools and techniques are aimed at situations commonly confronting kids at school, on the playground, and in public. Our classes stress four main areas: self-defense, situational awareness, fitness, and self-confidence. By focusing on these real-world needs, kids are engaged and empowered to continue doing what they love.

Leslies Bio:

Leslie was certified as a full IKMA Gidon system Krav Maga instructor in 2012 under US Chief Instructor and 3rd Degree Black Belt, Israeli Krav Maga David Khan. She trained with Israeli Masters for long hours and attended many Seminars worldwide to hone her skills. In 2015, she learned and certified for the women-enabled pink belt at the Gracie Academy in Torrance, California, with Rener Gracie. She teaches important advice, strategies, and techniques that can save lives. Over the years, she had boiled down a curriculum to various useful tools. Because the Krav Maga system is well-integrated, common defensive principles apply to various attack scenarios. Thus, the system can be learned in a relatively short period of instruction. The techniques are easy to retain and can be performed under stress.
