​Force on Target Training

Prerequisite requirement: Successful completion of the Level III Handgun Class.

This Force on Target training class involves the student going through reality-based video scenarios on our laser training simulator system. During each video scenario, the student must react to a situation with different characters where they may have to use deadly force, no force or verbal de-escalation techniques. This class helps build a tactical mindset, shoot/no-shoot decision-making proficiency, and confidence.  Scenarios are realistic and different outcomes controlled by the trainer's input.

Students are taught techniques for proper deployment from the holster and engagement judgment with a quick, accurate response using our Glock 17 recoil-enabled blowback training pistols with IR lasers, as well as Glock 17 6mm airsoft pistols. Targets are utilized throughout the facility.
